Bertazzoni range burner goes out when the knob is released
A Bertazzoni burner that goes out when you release the knob can need its flame-safety device heated first.
Possible causes: A thermocouple safety device, next to the spark plug, that is not yet hot enough to keep the gas flowing.
Check first: Hold the knob at high flame for four to five seconds, then release. The burner can take two or three tries to stay lit.
When to call: The burner repeatedly goes out. Stop using it; we check the ignition and flame safety.
