A GE Café burner flame that repeatedly goes out needs service: Café burners are designed to keep or relight the flame.
When to call: The flame keeps going out. We service the burner and ignition: dual-fuel slide-ins made since September 2017 should relight automatically, and other Café gas and dual-fuel designs hold the flame in a protected flame-stability chamber.
A flashing power setting without heat on a GE Café induction range can simply mean the pan is unsuitable.
Possible causes: Cookware that is not suitable for induction.
Check first: Check whether a magnet sticks to the pan base.
