Possible causes: The ice maker switched off; ice cubes stuck in the ice maker.

Check first: On a Café LCD touchscreen, look under Settings to see whether the ice maker is On. Side-by-side designs make about 100–130 cubes a day; four-door designs make about 100. In a built-in side-by-side, switch the ice maker off before clearing accessible stuck cubes, then turn it back on.

When to call: Ice production stays low or stops. We check the ice and water system.

GE Café refrigerator has no water or ice

No water or ice from a four-door GE Café refrigerator can point to the water filter or to the household water supply.

Possible causes: A clogged water filter; a clogged household supply line or shutoff valve.

What does Hot Water Ready mean on a GE Café refrigerator?
The selected hot water is ready. A beep and flashing red Hot Water knob can accompany the message. Dispense carefully using the fitted controls; arrange service if the ready message appears but water will not dispense.
