Our work

Viking appliance repairs by our technicians

Our Viking repairs include a double oven with incorrect heating, an oven with cracked inner glass and a microwave that no longer heated food. We repaired the oven’s heating and temperature controls, replaced the damaged glass and hinges, and fitted a magnetron and diode to the microwave. The refrigeration jobs also show gasket and defrost repairs for doors that would not seal and recurring ice.

Appliances

Viking appliances we repair

We repair Viking cooking, refrigeration and dishwashing equipment in fitted kitchens, plus outdoor grills. A range has an oven and cooking surface in one appliance; a wall oven and a counter-mounted cooktop are separate units. Choose the one that needs attention, whether it is losing heat, failing to light or no longer keeping food cold.

Cooking appliances and integrated refrigeration in a walnut kitchen
  • Viking refrigerator repair

We repair Viking 5 Series 42- and 48-inch built-in side-by-sides, including panel-ready installations. Call when the refrigerator runs for too long, loses cooling or displays a sensor alarm.

  • Viking oven repair

We repair Viking 5 Series double wall ovens for lost heat, uneven baking, locked doors and closing trouble. A built-in oven is serviced in its fitted kitchen position. Tell us which cavity is failing when an upper and lower oven share the front, especially if one still heats normally.

  • Viking range repair

A 7 Series dual-fuel or gas range can need repair at the burners or oven. We handle Viking ignition trouble, constant sparking and faults signaled by a flashing knob ring.

  • Viking dishwasher repair

For Viking 24-inch 5 Series dishwashers, we repair problems that stop a wash or leave dishes dirty. Stainless and custom-panel formats are included, with service for water-intake and leak messages.

  • Viking microwave repair

A DrawerMicro beneath the counter and a convection microwave hood are both part of our Viking work. Arrange service for a microwave that will not heat or controls that remain unresponsive after checking Control Lock.

  • Viking ice maker repair

Viking 15-inch clear and nugget ice machines fit under the counter behind a custom panel. We service low ice production and water or drain problems, including machines with built-in drain pumps.

  • Viking outdoor grill repair

For Viking 5 Series built-in grills, including 42-inch ProSear and 54-inch models, we repair ignition faults and low heat. Call when a burner will not light on its own or cooking heat has dropped.

  • Viking cooktop repair

Viking gas and induction counter surfaces are included in our cooking repairs. A gas burner that does not ignite and an induction zone that does not detect a pan need different checks. Tell us which surface you have and whether the issue affects one zone or the whole appliance.

  • Viking freezer repair

VEIL panel-ready freezer columns come in 18-, 24- and 36-inch widths. We service Viking cooling problems and temperature alerts, including the temperature sensor alarms on 5 Series refrigeration.

  • Viking wine cooler repair

We repair Viking undercounter wine cellars and VEIL full-height wine storage for cooling and control complaints. A single-zone cabinet and a cabinet with separate temperature zones need the affected section identified. Include any recurring service message without opening the cabinet or removing bottles to search for internal parts.

Viking formats

Viking ranges and built-ins for indoor and outdoor kitchens

We repair Viking 5 and 7 Series cooking appliances, integrated refrigeration and outdoor equipment. A name on the front is enough to start an enquiry; you do not have to remove the appliance to identify its internal parts. Describe the oven, burner, cold compartment or grill that has changed its behavior, and we can arrange the appropriate assessment at your Miami residence.

Can you repair a Viking gas range in a house?

Yes. We service Viking gas ranges, including 5 and 7 Series formats with an oven beneath the burners. A weak or absent oven heat is a different complaint from a surface burner that keeps sparking. In a Miami house with a wide range, say which cooking function is affected and whether the others still work; leave checking gas supply components and internal ignition parts to the technician.

What if my range has gas burners and an electric oven?

A Viking dual-fuel range is included in our cooking repairs. Its gas top and electric oven need different checks, even though both belong to the same range. If the burners work but baking does not, explain that distinction when booking. For a fitted Miami kitchen, leave the range in position so the service assessment can account for its actual connections and installation instead of starting with a disconnected appliance.

Do you service double wall ovens?

Yes. Viking built-in double ovens can be assessed for heating, temperature-control and door faults. Identify the upper or lower oven and describe whether it stays cold, cooks unevenly or refuses to open after cooling. The two cavities do not need to have the same symptom. Our Viking work includes double-oven heating controls as well as oven-door glass and hinges, so a door complaint is a repair request in its own right.

Can you service a separate Viking counter cooktop?

We repair supported Viking gas and induction cooking surfaces as well as ranges. A separate counter cooking surface can fail while the wall oven continues to cook normally. Describe whether you have a gas flame or induction zones, and whether one burner or the entire surface has stopped.

Can you visit for a built-in outdoor grill?

Yes. Viking 5 Series built-in grills are part of our service. We assess failed automatic ignition and low cooking heat. At a Miami house with a separate outdoor cooking area, identify that location when arranging the visit and leave the grill fitted. Avoid repeated lighting attempts when a burner fails; the repair assessment covers the ignition and gas-related work.

What about refrigeration behind matching panels?

We service Viking built-in refrigeration, including panel-ready formats and VEIL columns. A furniture front can conceal whether the appliance is a refrigerator, freezer or wine cabinet, so use its storage function to describe the request. If the freezer is icing while the fresh-food cabinet is still cold, mention both observations. That gives the visit a clearer starting point than requesting service for every matching door in the kitchen.

Common problems

Viking problems we assess

Common Viking problems are a refrigerator that runs too long, an oven that will not operate, range igniters that keep sparking, dishwasher wash arms that do not turn, a grill that will not ignite by itself and a wine cooler that loses cooling. Several have a first check: the door gasket, the MANUAL/TIMED switch and the breaker, wet or dirty igniters, and dishes blocking the wash arms; SureSpark re-igniting a burner whose flame went out is normal. We check the affected appliance and quote the repair.

Viking refrigerator runs for too long

A dirty, worn, damaged or poorly seated Viking door gasket can make the refrigerator run for too long. Clean the seal as instructed; if it is damaged or will not seat, arrange refrigerator service.

Viking oven will not operate

If the lights work on a Viking oven fitted with a MANUAL/TIMED switch, check that it is on MANUAL. With no lights, check the breaker. If the oven still will not operate, book service for its power or control problem.

Viking range igniters keep sparking

Continuous sparking in a Viking 5 Series VDR range can involve wet or dirty igniters, grounding or reversed electrical polarity. SureSpark normally re-ignites a burner when its flame goes out. If sparking persists during ordinary cooking, arrange range assessment and leave internal gas and electrical repairs to the technician.

Viking dishwasher wash arms do not turn

First check that both Viking wash arms turn freely and dishes, lids or handles do not obstruct them. Keep the filter system clean under the model instructions. If washing remains poor, arrange dishwasher service for the circulation problem.

Viking grill does not ignite by itself

A Viking 5 Series built-in grill uses a glowing electric igniter. A burner that can be lit manually but fails to light by itself can need igniter service. Avoid repeated lighting attempts, and leave checking gas connections and ignition components to the technician rather than dismantling the fitted grill.

Viking wine cooler loses cooling

Excess frost on the evaporator can reduce cooling in a Viking FWUI5242G undercounter wine cooler. Switching it off can release more meltwater than its drain can handle. Arrange assessment for the cooling loss and any message, keeping the cabinet in place rather than opening panels or trying to clear internal frost.

Causes and owner checks follow Viking’s use-and-care information, checked in October 2026.

Everyday care

Viking care without dismantling your kitchen

Owner care starts with cooled, accessible surfaces and the instructions for the particular Viking appliance. Cleaning cannot resolve every ignition, heating or cooling fault. When normal care leaves the same problem, arrange service rather than repeatedly restarting the oven or pulling a fitted appliance out of its cabinet. Keep a note of the change you noticed, such as longer preheating or clicking after cleaning.

How should I clean stainless Viking surfaces?

Use hot soapy water and a soft cloth for everyday stainless-steel cleaning, then wipe with a damp microfiber cloth in the direction of the grain. This is surface care, not a reason to remove a range control panel or oven door. In a Miami kitchen with several stainless appliances, treat the visible finish gently and keep liquid out of controls. If a knob or button has stopped responding, ask for repair rather than trying stronger cleaners on the mechanism.

What should I know about 7 Series burner-head cleaning?

Viking specifies a Bar Keepers Friend and water paste for 7 Series burner heads, with a 30-minute contact time. Follow the complete instructions for your own cooled burner parts rather than applying that method indiscriminately to every finish. Cleaning a burner head is different from servicing the ignition circuit. If the burner keeps sparking or will not light after normal care, stop repeated attempts and arrange a cooking-appliance visit.

Should I force an oven door after Self Clean?

No. A Viking oven door stays latched until the oven reaches a safe temperature after Self Clean. Allow it to cool without pulling hard on the handle. If it remains locked after cooling, the door needs assessment rather than extra force against the hinges or glass. Our Viking jobs include both inner glass and hinge work, so mention any earlier cracking, rubbing or closing difficulty when describing the door fault.

Can a refrigerator seal affect running time?

Yes. A dirty, worn, damaged or badly seated Viking refrigerator gasket can make the appliance run longer. Clean the accessible seal as directed and check whether the door closes evenly without pushing against stored items. A torn seal or a door that still will not seat calls for service. For a panel-front refrigerator in a fitted kitchen, leave the panel attached and describe any point where the door rubs or springs back.

Miami neighborhoods

Viking service around Miami homes and apartments

Miami’s cooking-service visits range from condominium towers around Brickell and Edgewater to houses in Coconut Grove and Coral Gate. We repair the Viking appliance installed at the address, without assuming a particular fuel, width or kitchen layout from the neighborhood. A burner fault, a damaged oven door, a grill ignition problem and a warm built-in cabinet can each be booked for the affected Viking appliance.

Brickell

Brickell has substantial condominium housing. For a Viking oven beneath a counter or in a fitted wall, explain whether preheating has slowed or baking has become uneven, and leave the surrounding cabinets intact. Include the apartment and any building service-entry arrangements so the appointment fits access to the kitchen, rather than just the street address.

Downtown Miami

Downtown’s residential stock includes rental apartments. A resident can report that the gas burners work while the oven stays cold; a property manager can use that observation to arrange the affected Viking range assessment. If the oven also has a door that will not shut, include that observation with the building and unit details; keep the fitted range connected for assessment.

Edgewater

Edgewater is a condominium district in Greater Downtown. If a Viking counter cooktop keeps clicking after the surface has been cleaned and dried, describe whether one burner or all burners are involved. Check any service-elevator booking with your building when agreeing on the visit, without moving the cooktop or opening its connections.

Coconut Grove

Coconut Grove includes low-density single-family residential districts. A Viking outdoor grill is a separate service request from the indoor range, so identify whether the burner that fails is outside or in the kitchen. Explain failed ignition or reduced cooking heat, and provide the property’s access details for that cooking area when booking.

Coral Way and Coral Gate

Coral Gate is a single-family neighborhood within the Coral Way area. If a Viking double oven has one cavity heating normally and the other cooking poorly, identify the upper or lower oven rather than just saying the kitchen has no heat. Mention any door that no longer closes squarely so heating and closing observations can be checked together.

Little Havana

Little Havana includes older residential buildings. In a remodeled kitchen, a Viking microwave can have a heating fault even while the separate range works, so describe the microwave’s behavior on its own. Service can be arranged in Spanish; keep internal microwave parts covered and include any apartment entry details needed for the appointment.

Wynwood and Midtown

Wynwood has rental housing, while Midtown has a walkable urban layout. For a Viking dishwasher in an apartment kitchen, dishes left dirty and a door that will not latch are different observations to report. Give the unit number and identify which appliance needs service when the cooking and washing equipment have matching stainless fronts.

Upper Eastside and Morningside

Upper Eastside includes condominium housing, and Morningside is a historic residential district. A fitted Viking refrigerator door that rebounds or leaves a gap needs that closing behavior described, especially if cooling has changed too. Leave the furniture panel and cabinet trim in place so the visit can assess the door in its actual opening.

Pricing

Viking repair pricing for your Miami residence

A Viking repair is priced for the fault and work required, at market prices without a markup for your home or address. The assessment can distinguish a damaged oven door from a heating problem, or a range fault from a separate outdoor grill request. You receive the diagnosis and repair price before deciding to proceed.

$145

Diagnostic per appliance

The diagnostic applies to each Viking appliance and is credited toward that appliance’s repair. You pay it on its own only if you decide not to repair. A separate grill and an indoor range are assessed as separate appliances, even when they serve the same home.

Price before work

We explain the failed Viking function and the proposed repair before starting work. A door-glass replacement, ignition repair and cooling repair can involve different parts and labor, so the quote follows the assessment rather than a guess from the neighborhood or the appliance’s purchase price.

Parts and labor

The quote covers original parts directly from the manufacturer and the labor the repair needs. A needed part that is not on hand is ordered for a return visit. The appointment is for assessment and the agreed repair path, without promising every fault can be completed on arrival.

Your visit

Your Viking visit from the symptom to the repair

A Miami Viking visit starts with the appliance and the change in its operation, then agree on the address and access details.

  1. Identify the fault

Tell us whether the Viking needing attention is a range, separate oven, cooktop, grill or refrigeration appliance. An oven with weak heat and a burner with no flame are useful observations; you do not need to identify a failed part or remove the unit to request a visit.

  2. Arrange the property access

Give the Miami street address and apartment, if there is one. Confirm any service-entry window or elevator arrangements with the property before settling on the appointment. For an outdoor grill, explain where the fitted cooking area is so the visit can reach the correct appliance.

  3. Decide after diagnosis

The technician examines the affected appliance and explains the cause and repair price. You choose whether to approve that work before it starts. If two Viking appliances are failing, describe each one so the assessments and decisions remain clear rather than treating a whole kitchen as one fault.

  4. Complete the approved work

Approved repairs use original manufacturer parts. When a required component must be ordered, we return to complete the work. Keep the fitted appliance in its normal position unless the technician gives you a specific instruction during service.

Repair or replace

Your Viking repair and the installed alternative

Repair usually makes sense when the rest of the Viking is sound and one fault is to blame: replacing a range, double wall oven or built-in refrigerator also means removal, installation and often panel or cabinet work. A common rule of thumb: if a repair costs more than half the price of a new appliance, replacement may make more sense; for a built-in, compare our repair price with the full installed cost of the new unit. The repair may address one oven, a door assembly or a refrigeration seal. Replacement can also involve removal, a suitable opening and the surrounding kitchen finish, so compare usable outcomes rather than an appliance-only price.

Call (786) 808-7771

Can cracked Viking oven door glass be replaced?

Yes. A damaged door is repaired on its own, as a door repair. Our Viking work includes replacement of inner glass and hinges, while a separate double-oven job involved heating and temperature controls. The condition of your own oven determines the choice. Ask what the quote restores and what other faults are present, then compare it with a compatible installed oven with removal and fitting included in the replacement price.

Is it worth repairing an older Viking built-in refrigerator?

It depends on the diagnosed fault, the general condition and the repair quote. A door that will not seal and recurring defrost ice can lead to different repairs, as our Viking jobs show. If you consider replacement, include removal, the new unit’s fit and any panel or cabinet work. The age or premium name alone does not settle the decision, and a working separate oven or grill need not be included in that replacement.

Nearby service

Viking coverage beyond Miami

Viking service extends beyond Miami’s city boundary across our Miami-Dade coverage. A house in Coral Gables, an apartment on Miami Beach and an island residence need their own address details, even when the cooking complaint sounds similar. The county coverage connects these places; the Viking service brings together the cooking, cooling and washing appliances we support.

Miami Beach

Miami Beach is a separate city with houses and managed apartments. For an oven door that remains locked after cooling, describe the door’s state and whether cooking has stopped; include the island address and unit so the visit reaches the right property.

Coral Gables

Coral Gables has single-family residential districts outside the City of Miami. A wide Viking range can have one burner failing while the other cooking functions work, so describe that burner instead of requesting replacement of the whole range.

Key Biscayne

Key Biscayne has both houses and condominium residences. For a built-in grill that will not light automatically, identify the outdoor cooking area and any property-specific route to it; do not remove the grill from its surround in preparation.

Pinecrest

Pinecrest includes extensive single-family residential land. If indoor cooking works but an outdoor Viking grill has lost heat, book the grill as its own appliance and explain which burners are affected rather than reporting a general kitchen outage.

Broward County

We also serve Broward County. For a Viking appliance at another residence, identify whether the request is for an indoor range or a separate grill; the full property address belongs with that appliance’s symptom when arranging its visit.

Miami-Dade County

Our Miami-Dade coverage includes the surrounding municipalities and inland communities. Use the complete property address when arranging Viking service for another home, and identify whether the request concerns indoor cooking, an outdoor grill, refrigeration or dishwashing.

Questions

Questions about Viking at your Miami address

Call (786) 808-7771
Can you repair a Viking oven in a Brickell condo?
Yes. Viking wall-oven and range-oven service is available in Brickell. Explain whether the oven takes too long to preheat, cooks unevenly or stays cold, and mention the building’s service-entry arrangements when agreeing on the visit. A working cooktop does not mean the oven beneath it is heating correctly.
Do you visit Coconut Grove houses for Viking grills?
Yes. We service supported Viking outdoor grills in Coconut Grove as well as indoor cooking equipment. Describe automatic ignition trouble or low heat and tell us the grill is outside. Leave it installed; gas connections and ignition repair are work for the service visit, rather than preparation for the owner.
Can you assess just one oven in my Viking double oven?
Yes. Identify the upper or lower oven and the difference you notice. One may heat while the other does not, or a single door may catch or fail to close. Our completed Viking double-oven work includes heating and temperature controls, while other oven jobs address glass and hinges.
What if a Viking burner keeps clicking after cleaning?
Let the cooled burner parts dry and make sure accessible parts are correctly seated under your appliance’s instructions. Persistent sparking can need service even when the burner lights. Tell us whether the clicking affects one burner or several, and leave internal wiring and gas components for the technician.
Can a property manager arrange my Downtown Viking repair?
Yes. A manager can arrange service for a Miami apartment and provide the appliance, symptom, street address and unit. Include the access window agreed with the property and whether the oven, burners or both have stopped working. The price is explained before the work starts.
Do you need me to pull out a fitted Viking range?
No. Leave the range in its installed position for assessment. Tell us if it is fitted tightly between cabinets or if the oven door rubs nearby trim. Moving a gas-connected range to prepare for service can create extra problems; the technician determines what access the repair requires.
Can I book a Viking refrigerator as well as the oven?
Yes. Describe each affected appliance separately when arranging your Miami appointment. The diagnostic is charged per appliance and is credited toward that appliance’s repair. A warm refrigerator and an oven without heat are separate assessments, even if both belong to the same matching Viking kitchen.
How soon can you come to my Miami home?
A technician can come today or tomorrow, seven days a week. Calls are answered 24/7. Give the actual Miami address and any apartment access arrangements when booking. If a required Viking part must be ordered, the repair can involve a return visit; arrival and completion are separate.
Is a Viking repair quote higher for a waterfront address?
No. We charge market prices with no markup because of your home or address. The diagnosed fault, parts and work determine the repair quote. You receive that price before work and can compare the proposed repair with a suitable installed replacement if you are considering both choices.
Can I discuss a Little Havana Viking appointment in Spanish?
Yes. We speak Spanish, and you can describe the cooking or cooling problem in everyday words. Include the Little Havana street address and apartment if relevant. You do not need to translate a component name or find an internal model label before arranging the service request.
